# PagerDuty

[PagerDuty ](https://www.integry.io/apps/pagerduty)is a powerful online platform for managing real-time digital operations. The PagerDuty App Connector helps you manage and sync any kind of incident that occurs with other third-party apps. For example, alter an account's configuration, pipe events from a monitoring tool into PagerDuty, or retrieve information about activity on a PagerDuty account.

### Specifications

Following are the specifications of the PagerDuty App Connector:

#### Authorization Type

PagerDuty uses the [OAuth ](https://support.integry.io/hc/en-us/articles/11112617800985-Authentication-Types-Supported-in-Integry)authorization type. The auth token can be used continuously to make requests until the end-user or app owner revokes it. When you set up an integration, you need to log in and allow Integry to access your PagerDuty account.

#### Trigger Type

PagerDuty uses [webhook-based](https://tray.io/documentation/connectors/triggers/webhook-trigger/) triggers. Therefore, as soon as an event occurs, Integry will receive the trigger instantly.

### Limitations

Currently, there are no limitations of the PagerDuty App Connector.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.integry.ai/apps/supported-apps/pagerduty.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
