# Airtable

[Airtable](https://www.airtable.com/) is an online platform that allows you to create a custom database of apps tailored to your specific needs and workflows. It helps you to create a single source of features according to your team's work. It also helps you build custom interfaces that deliver relevant information to your team members, which they can use to plan their future actions. The Airtable App Connector syncs and manages records with other third-party apps.

### Specifications  <a href="#specifications-0-0" id="specifications-0-0"></a>

Following are the basic specifications of the Airtable connector.

#### Authorization Type  <a href="#authorization-type-0-1" id="authorization-type-0-1"></a>

Airtable uses the [API key](https://support.integry.io/hc/en-us/articles/11112617800985-Authentication-Types-Supported-in-Integry) based authorization method. The API key identifies the end-user, and Integry uses this key to perform an API communication with Airtable on behalf of that end-user.

#### Trigger Type <a href="#trigger-type-0-2" id="trigger-type-0-2"></a>

No triggers are implemented in the Airtable App Connector.

### Limitations <a href="#limitations-0-3" id="limitations-0-3"></a>

Currently, there are no limitations of the Airtable App Connector.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.integry.ai/apps/supported-apps/airtable.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
